Draw a book in just 6 easy steps! A book is wonderful because any story, adventure, or information can be contained within its pages. You may also learn many things, easy cartoon drawing, scary drawing, pencil drawing, cool things to draw, scary drawing, creative drawing, and flower drawing.
The possibilities with books seem endless, and there’s always a new one to get lost in! If you love reading and can’t get enough books, you may have wondered what it takes to learn how to draw. If that sounds like you, we have a guide for you!
How to draw a book – Allow contact to be formed!
To begin our guide on how to draw a book, we’ll start with a slightly elongated rectangle shape. To make this step easier, you can use a ruler to draw a rectangle at the same angle as the book in the picture. Once you have this guide shape, you can draw the final shape of the book. When happy with the final shape, you should erase any pencil lines you’ve drawn as a guide. The top right corner of the book will have straighter edges, as seen in the image.
Step 2: Add to the beginning of the book.
Now that you have outlined your book, you can start drawing the interior details. You can draw a rounded line between the two angular shapes using the more angular shape you left at the top right of your book. This will be the top of the book pages, which we will draw later. Once it examines like a shot in the contact print, you can continue to the subsequent degree!
Step 3: Now, we will add some rows for the pages.
For this part of our guide on how to draw a book, we’ll add some lines to represent the pages of your book. Using a ruler is ideal for this step, as it helps keep spacing between lines even more. You can change the space between the lines to make it look like the book has more or fewer pages depending on your preference!
Step 4: Draw the back cover of the book.
You’re drawing a nice thick book in this guide, so your book drawing needs an equally thick cover and spine. To make it look like the book has a thick cover, carefully draw a line around the top of the pages you drew in the previous steps. Once you’ve drawn the thick cover, draw a curved line along the book’s spine to give it a nice thick spine. Now that you’ve drawn these elements, you can add some final details to your book.
Step 5: Now add the final details.
You are about to finish drawing your book! Before moving on to the fun coloring stage, your book needs some final details. We’ve shown some details you could add to your book design, and the details we show have little circles and lines running along the spine. We suggest these details, but you can also get creative by adding your own! Please draw your favorite book cover on the cover of your book design! You can even draw your favorite character from the book on the cover with the title.
Step 6: Now Your Book Needs Color
When you started this guide, you decided to learn how to draw a book, and now you can see that you have succeeded! Before your book design is finished, you need beautiful colors to be complete! We show you how we color in this sketchbook, but this is a stage where you can show how creative you are! In the previous step, I suggested drawing the cover of your favorite book on the cover of your book design.
If you follow this idea, you can look at the book cover in real life and then replicate the cover colors on the cover of your book design. Once you’ve decided on the colors for your book design, you can also have some fun experimenting with different art mediums.
